2020 has brought many challenges to us. But it’s important to try our best to remember the good things that happened this year! Have you got plans for New Year’s eve? If not, here are some great suggestions on how to receive the new year and close the chapter on 2020.
Can’t get together? Have a Zoom Party!
You probably are unable to meet with your friends & family, maybe you are planning to just have a few friends or family members to celebrate the new year. But if you are used to having more people around, Zoom is currently offering their services for free for the Holidays. You can host a Zoom party with unlimited time with your friends 7 family. Having a virtual party not only helps promote responsible physical distancing, but also allows you to see your friends & family and be together if you are unable to do so physically.
Not looking to Party?
Maybe you are used to watching the ball drop in Times Square. Although this year they have cancelled that event, you can still join Ryan Seacrest on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on TV – There will be celebrity guest appearances by: Jennifer Lopez, Billy Porter, Cyndi Lauper, Nelly, Miley Cyrus and more.
Movie Night!
Plan a movie night by watching movies that are based around new years eve. Grab your PJ’s, get some snacks, and drinks and have a great time. Some movie suggestions that take place on December 31st are: Phantom Thread, New Year’s Eve, About Time, Are we there yet?, Boogie Nights, Forest Gump, Ghostbusters 2, Trading Places, The Godfather Part 2, and if you’re feeling like you need to be scared more than you have this year, check out New Year’s Evil.
Make a Vision Board
Maybe you are so done with 2020 that you are already looking ahead. Making a vision board can help you with that. Grab some magazines, print some pictures, and find images that take you where you want to go! You can use helpful tools online as well to make a vision board like PicMonkey. Put together your goals and vision for 2021 and put a plan ahead to be ready to tackle the new year.
